This rare Art Deco ceramic coffee set was produced in Tuscany, Italy, between 1928 and 1936 by the renowned Carraresi Lucchesi ceramics factory. Featuring the bold, futurist-inspired lines characteristic of the Art Deco movement, this set embodies the fine craftsmanship and artistic vision of early 20th-century Italian ceramics.
History and Provenance:
The Carraresi Lucchesi factory, located in Sesto Fiorentino, was founded by Virgilio Carraresi and Daniele Lucchesi in 1936, continuing the legacy of the previous ceramics company “B.M.C.” Known for its artistic ceramics, including modern majolica and terracotta, the company produced distinctive pieces that blended tradition with modernist influences. Due to its historic production methods, some items from this period remain unsigned.
