Description
A set of four Italian alabaster ashtrays from the 1970s, inspired by the four classic playing card suits. Each piece features a distinct sculptural shape and is crafted from richly veined alabaster, displaying warm tones ranging from peach and coral to cream, streaked with darker, natural mineral variations.
The polished surface enhances the stone’s veining and depth of color, while the compact, geometric shapes lend the set a playful yet refined decorative character. Originally designed as ashtrays, the four elements can also serve as small catch-alls, desk accessories, or decorative objects.
On the bottom, there is a vintage “Made in Italy” label, consistent with the set’s Italian origin. All pieces are intact, with no breaks or chips, showing only slight signs of age and use.
