Description

Rare pair of wall lamps by Philippe Rogier for Oxar, France, 1970s

A rare and fascinating pair of vintage wall lamps, designed by Philippe Rogier for Oxar in the 1970s, a distinctive example of the experimental French design of the time.

Each lamp features a minimal metal structure on which three concentric spirals develop, designed to house mirror reflector bulbs. When turned on, these spirals generate an incredible play of light and shadow on the wall, creating a dynamic and three-dimensional optical effect.

The sconces are a perfect balance between functional lighting and kinetic art, becoming sculptural elements that capture the eye even when turned off. They are mounted on the wall with two barely visible screws and include the original reflective bulbs, essential for maintaining the original aesthetic.

Ideal for modern, brutalist or eclectic environments, these wall lights are true works of luminous art from the 70s.
