Description
A refined pair of 1970s Italian wall lamps produced by PAF Studio, crafted from Murano glass and brass, an elegant example of decorative lighting with an organic and sculptural feel.
The most distinctive element is the white glass diffuser, shaped into a striking leaf, or rather an open leaf-petal, with a soft, curved, and slightly enveloping profile. The glass surface features a delicate sculptural scansion on the lower portion, almost evoking the leaf’s natural veins, accentuating the botanical and poetic nature of the design. This conformation allows the light to diffuse softly and evenly, creating a warm, elegant, and highly dramatic atmosphere.
The essential yet well-proportioned brass structure supports the glass with a curved, circular shape that adds visual lightness and a pleasing textural contrast to the milky softness of the diffuser. The result is a balanced composition, in which the quality of Murano glass meets the precious sobriety of brass, in keeping with a typically Italian style of the period.
These wall lamps are ideal in a bedroom, an entrance hall, beside a mirror, or in a sophisticated living room, where they can be enhanced both as light points and as decorative elements.
Manufacturer’s stamp on the lamp holder.
