Description
A refined pair of table lamps produced by Franco Luce in the 1970s, made of Murano glass and brass, a very elegant example of Italian decorative lighting with an organic and sculptural taste.
The distinctive element of these lamps is the white Murano glass diffuser, shaped into a striking leaf shape. The slender, pointed profile at the top, the pronounced central rib, and the thin grooves that open harmoniously toward the sides clearly recall a stylized leaf, interpreted with a perfect balance between naturalism and decorative abstraction. The slightly wavy edges further accentuate the sense of movement and lightness.
When illuminated, the ribbed glass surfaces diffuse a soft, enveloping light, creating visual depth and highlighting the quality of the material. The milky glass interacts with the polished brass structure, composed of a round base and a simple support that vertically supports the diffuser without weighing down its silhouette. The contrast between the opalescent softness of the glass and the warm brilliance of the brass creates a sophisticated and quintessentially Italian image.
These lamps are ideal as statement lamps, on bedside tables, sideboards, consoles or side tables, where they can function both as a light source and as a decorative element with a strong personality.
Dimensions of each lamp: 17 x 23 x 40 h cm.
