Description

Refined Cascade chandelier in opalescent Murano glass, designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in 1970. The structure is composed of a succession of elongated blown glass elements, arranged in an overlapping fashion to create an elegant and dynamic cascading cylindrical silhouette.

The unique opalescent finish gives the glass an extraordinary luminous quality, with reflections ranging from milky white, pale blue, and subtle mother-of-pearl hues. Even when turned off, the chandelier maintains a very strong sculptural presence; when turned on, however, it diffuses a warm, soft, and evocative light, enhancing the volume and depth of the composition.

This model perfectly represents the aesthetic research of 1970s Italian design, where formal experimentation, artisanal quality, and attention to materials blend into a highly captivating object. Ideal for a dining room, living room, entryway, or any other sophisticated space, where it can take center stage.
