Description

This Art Deco fruit salad set for six was designed by Napoleone Martinuzzi and produced by Venini in the 1930s. The service consists of a central serving bowl and six individual bowls, crafted from black glass with attached red glass handles.

The central bowl is complemented by an elegant nickel-plated brass backsplash, a striking architectural element that fully echoes the Art Deco aesthetic. The contrast between the polished glass and the metal lends the piece a refined, sculptural presence, typical of Martinuzzi’s work for Venini.

Designed for serving fruit salad, the set harmoniously combines function and decoration and is now appreciated both as a table service and as a collector’s item or decorative element of great impact.
