Description
An Italian Murano glass ashtray/vide-poche from the 1970s, distinguished by a compact, sculptural form and a deep central hollow with soft contours. The clear glass body is traversed by dense striations and white inclusions, creating a dynamic, textured effect that highlights the thickness of the glass through an interplay of light and transparency.
Its circular shape, visual weight, and strong sculptural presence evoke the style of Murano glass decorative objects from the 1970s. Offered in the style of Mazzega, the piece combines practical function with a distinctly sculptural character.
Originally conceived as an ashtray, it can also be used as a catch-all tray or a small decorative bowl.
Dimensions: diameter 20 cm, height 6 cm.
