Description

Sideboard sideboard “Alveo” by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, Italy, 1970s

This refined Italian sideboard was designed by Willy Rizzo and produced by Mario Sabot in the early 1970s. It is an iconic piece of Italian Mid-Century Modern style, perfectly embodying the cosmopolitan elegance of the Jet Set and the sophisticated taste of the time.

Made of glossy black laminate, the structure is enhanced by chrome-plated steel handles and corner profiles, which enhance its rigorous lines and bold character. The cabinet is divided into three main sections: two side doors with a hinged opening and a central flap door with interior lighting, perfect for use as a bar or cocktail station.

Inside are three built-in drawer units, providing well-organized storage space. The presence of reflective surfaces, harmonious proportions and textural details make this a visually striking piece, ideal for modern, eclectic or executive interiors.

A rare and collectible creation that expresses the best of 1970s Italian design between functionality and glamour.
