Description

An important monumental oval planter from the early 1900s, crafted from lost-wax cast bronze and featuring a refined Renaissance style. The body has a broad, rounded shape, with an elegant upper edge decorated with classical motifs in relief and a continuous ornamental band. The lower portion is characterized by deep vertical pods, which lend volume, rhythm, and a strong sculptural presence to the ensemble.

The sides feature lion heads modeled with dangling rings, while the base rests on zoomorphic feet with an antique and decorative feel. The bronze surface retains a natural patina in shades of oxidized green, brown, and dark, enhancing the quality of the casting and the charm of its time. Perfect as a planter, a monumental cachepot, or a decorative element in an entryway, porch, living room, conservatory, or reception room.
