Description

Rare Mexana 194 table designed by Carlo Scarpa for Simon Gavina in 1973. The design features an essential architectural form, with a large rectangular top and two solid vertical bases, which give the piece a rigorous, sculptural and monumental presence.

The entire table, both the top and the legs, is upholstered in black velvet/microfiber fabric, a material that lends a soft, warm, and refined feel, almost velvety. Brass inserts are placed in the joints between the top and the bases, creating a precious and discreet detail that enhances the design’s geometry. The table is double-sided, so it can be used and enjoyed from either side. Like-new condition, perfect, with no tears. The trademark is present on the lower base.

Measurements: 194cm wide x 77cm deep x 72cm high.
