Iconic modular wall system, “Gronda” model, designed by Luciano Bertoncini and produced by Elco in Italy around the 1970s.
The composition is composed of nine independent vertical modules: seven mirrored panels and two luminous elements with rectangular white plastic diffusers, illuminated across their entire front surface. Installed in sequence, the modules create a visually striking architectural effect, alternating light and reflection in a rigorous, graphic rhythm.
The structure of each element is framed in black plastic, emphasizing the linearity and modularity typical of Italian design research of the period. A distinctive functional detail characterizes the mirrored panels: the concealed coat hook integrated into the surface, a clever solution that blends minimalist aesthetics with everyday functionality.
