Description
A rare table lamp designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in the 1970s, part of the “Car Optics” series. The design draws inspiration from car headlights, reinterpreted decoratively using the quality of Murano glass and the experimental language of Italian lighting of the period.
The lamp features a large circular diffuser on the front, similar to an optical lens, with a patterned and grooved surface to amplify reflections and depth. The milky white glass body becomes translucent when the lamp is turned on, creating a soft, diffused, and evocative light. The slanted, sculptural metal base gives the piece a futuristic, architectural feel. Perfect for a desk, console table, coffee table, or interiors dedicated to 1970s Italian design.
Measurements: 24cm wide x 30cm deep x 34cm high.
