Description

A rare early 20th-century Italian copper weathervane with a three-dimensional structure and original patina. The main subject is a large bird at the top, modeled in full volume, with outstretched wings, an open beak, and a strong sculptural presence.

The lower composition is enriched by small three-dimensional birds arranged on the directional arms, cardinal point letters, and decorative spheres, creating a complex, dynamic, and highly scenic ensemble. Unlike common flat weathervanes, this piece has a truly sculptural and decorative quality, almost like a copper sculpture. The natural patina, in shades of blue-green, brown, and dark, highlights the material’s age and lends it great authenticity. Ideal as a collector’s item, an architectural decorative element, or a dramatic interior design piece.

Measurements: 55cm wide x 55cm deep x 110cm high.
