Description

Art Deco Murano Glass Wall Lamp by Carlo Scarpa Venini, 1930s

Elegant pair of Art Deco style wall lamps designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini in the early 1930s, a perfect example of balance between material experimentation and formal purity.

Each wall lamp is composed of a blown Murano glass lampshade with a transparent and milky finish, which diffuses the light in a soft and atmospheric way. The chromed metal frame emphasizes the rationalist taste of the time, giving brilliance and a modern touch to the composition.

The compact and geometric proportions make these lamps perfect for entrances, corridors, living rooms or environments in vintage and rationalist style. A rare example of historical Italian lighting, signed by one of the greatest masters of twentieth-century design.
